Also known as Tradescantia Zebrina, it is a classic species where it goes perfectly on window sill or on shelves inside your home. This plant is currently potted in our own pot mix recipe that is suitable for typical Canadian home environment. You are welcome to repot into any aroid mix of your liking after receiving the plant for at least a month.
Care
Caring for this tropical plant is a breeze and a good starter plant
- Keep it in a well drained medium, preferably in medium to large chunk aroid mix
- Lookout for over-watering. Fully rinse wet after pot is near completely dry.
- Mist the leaves daily and maintain a good air circulation to avoid leaf rot
- Keep the plant warm at 25ºC-30ºC (optimal). Do not go beyond 10°C-40°C
- Place under indirect light and avoid direct sunlight, especially noon and afternoon sun
